THE CHALLENGE The King Edward VI Foundation needed a consistent external safeguarding audit across its 14 diverse schools. This required a robust approach that considered varying contexts while delivering clear, reliable insights into strengths and areas for improvement. Internally, the Safeguarding Lead sought validated data to align judgments, build trust in assessments, and ensure all schools remained compliant, secure, and proactive in their safeguarding practices. Summarised findings in a comprehensive Excel dashboard, featuring RAG-rated outcomes for each safeguarding statement, enabling both school-level and Foundation-wide analysis. Identified patterns across school types and helped highlight common strengths and strategic areas for development.
