Dafer Jusef, čija muzika premošćuje žanrove i kontinente, stiže u Beograd kao deo nezaboravnog „Musicology Ses- sions“ koncertnog serijala 11. i 12. aprila. Njegov najnoviji al- bum „Ulica minareta“ nije samo ponuda za sanjare i borce već i za sve one koji nikada ne odustaju, za one skrivene u senci, dostojanstvene, nemilosrdne i nevidljive svetu. Nje- gova muzika je putovanje kroz vreme, jedinstveni spoj Isto- ka i Zapada, tradicionalnih zvukova njegovog rodnog Tuni- sa, kao i džeza, roka i drugih bliskih žanrova. Maro, portugalska kantautorka koja će vas očarati svo- jim emotivnim glasom i autentičnim izrazom, prvi put dola- zi u Beograd, takođe kao deo „Musicology Sessions“ kon- certnog serijala. Njen muzički put je oblikovala saradnja sa dva velika imena – Džejkobom Kolijerom i Kvinsijem Džo- unsom, da bi sledeći iskorak učinila nastupom na evrovizij- skom takmičenju 2022. sa pesmom „Saudade, saudade“. Dhafer Youssef, whose music bridges genres and continents, ar- rives in Belgrade for 11 th and 12 th April concerts that form part of the unforgettable Musicology Sessions series. His latest album, Streets of Minarets, isn’t just an offering for dreamers and fight- ers, but rather for all those who never quit, for those hidden in the shadows, the dignified, the ruthless and those rendered invisible to the world. His music is a journey through time, a unique blend of Eastern and Western influences, the traditional sounds of his native Tunisia, but also jazz, rock and other similar genres. Portuguese singer-songwriter MARO, who will enchant you with her emotive voice and authentic expression, is arriving in Bel- grade for the first time, as part of the Musicology Sessions con- cert series. Her musical journey has been shaped by collabo- rations with two great names: Jacob Collier and Quincy Jones, only for her to take the next step in her career by performing at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2022 with the song Saudade, Saudade. With her intimate guitar trio and latest release, MA- RO brings something special to Belgrade – a blend of tradition and modernity, as well as a love for music that transcends bor- ders.
