U umetničkoj rezidenciji i galeriji „Hestia“ do 12. maja biće po- stavljena izložba slika umetnice Biljane Đurđević pod nazivom „Poslednja večera“. Izložba se bavi opštom slabošcu društva izazvanom sve većom instrumentalizacijom ljudskog bića od strane industrije, tehnologije i medija kako na globalnom, tako i na lokalnom nivou. „Poslednja večera“ nastavak je višegodiš- njeg projekta „Studija slučaja“ koji obuhvata slikarstvo, anima- cije i grafički roman, a gde je fokus upravo na eksploatisanom, umornom telu – našem zajedničkom, globalnom telu. „Po- slednja večera“ je postmoderni, gotovo epski projekat, lišen mitologije i herojskih dela.
Belgrade’s Hestia Art Residency & Exhibitions Bureau is host- ing an exhibition of artist Biljana Đurđević’s paintings, entitled The Last Supper, until 12 th May. The exhibition deals with the gener- al fragility of society due to the ever-increasing instrumentali- sation of the human being by industry, technology and the me- dia, both at the local and global levels. The Last Supper marks a continuation of her multi-year Case Study project, which en- compasses paintings, animation and a graphic novel and which focuses specifically on the overexploited and exhausted body – our shared, global body. The Last Supper is an almost epic post- modern project, devoid of mythology and heroic deeds.
