THE REAL DEAL ON OLD WIVES’ TALES

You’ve probably heard the old wisdom that if you pluck a gray hair, two will grow back, or maybe you’ve been avoiding the pool after dinner so you don’t drown. Ultimately, most of these tales are just age-old fibs that have managed to stick around for generations despite science and common sense debunking them. So, the next time someone warns you about the gum you swallowed or how you prune your hair, laugh it off and share the real story.
