Community Happenings Autumn In May, we enjoyed a scenic bus outing where we basked in the sun and visited our friends at Burpengary Manor Aged Care. It was a lovely morning of friendship, conversation, and a thoughtful exchange of succulents from their gardening group . Back at home, excitement was in the air with the grand opening of the Candy Lane Lolly Shop — a fun-filled event complete with quality-control lolly tasting. And in true Strathpine fashion, the idea of a resident-led Mother’s Day Fashion Show blossomed into a full-scale event. With outfits from Glenda’s Mobile Shopping and beyond, our resident models stole the spotlight on the catwalk while guests enjoyed gift bags, laughter and applause.
