Welcome Home, Arkansas Alpha Phis!
Kappa Kappa-Angelo State Angelo State Alpha Phis
Celebrate National Women’s
Friendship Day Women tend to look out for one another and have each other’s backs, whether they know each other or not. This was the motivation behind Kappa Kappa-Angelo State’s recent philanthropy project in honor of National Women’s Friendship Day. In honor of this holiday, the members of Kappa Kappa came together at a chapter meeting to prepare feminine care packages that included sanitary pads, underwear liners, tampons and a homemade friendship bracelet to hand out to women on campus. “The ultimate goal of this project was to spread joy through providing feminine products to women at Angelo State who might not be able to afford them, as well as make positive connections on campus,” shared Kylee Solis, Kappa Kappa's Chapter President.
Bid Day is a monumental day in the lives of all of our members. When you received your Alpha Phi bid, it was so much more than an invitation to join or a piece of paper. It's a key to lifelong friendships, career support, leadership opportunities and a sisterhood that stands by you through our lifetime. September 8, 2024, was a momentous day for Alpha Phi as we officially welcomed our founding members at the University of Arkansas! Bid Day was a culmination of months of hard work and planning by Team Razorbacks, an incredible group of volunteers and staff. They held multiple weeks of marketing and establishment recruitment events to recruit Alpha Phi’s very first members! Bid Day began at the Greek Theatre on Arkansas’ campus where more than 1,000 Panhellenic women and community members came together to celebrate Alpha Phi in a tremendous display of Panhellenic Spirit.
Way to go, Kappa Kappa!
