Based on the information we have received, we have identified several options for approaching the commission/fee schedule for the mid-year BOR. These options are as follows: We would like to confirm that all services discussed in our RFP are fully included in our compensation package. The commission/fee outlined is all-inclusive of the services, resources, and capabilities within the service agreement. We would love the opportunity to work with you and look forward to the possibility of partnering together. Adopt the Current Commission Structure: If we are awarded the BOR for the June 1st takeover, we would adopt the current commission structure. However, we do not have clarity on whether this structure is fee-based or based on direct commissions from the carrier/TPA. Fee-Based Structure: If the current structure is fee-based, we have the flexibility to adjust the commission/fee schedule mid-year, as needed. If the structure is based on direct commissions from the carrier/vendor/TPA, these commissions would remain fixed until January 1, 2026. This is due to the fact that direct commissions are typically built into the rates, and adjusting them mid-plan year could potentially impact contributions and pricing. Direct Commission Structure:
Our overall commission/fee is $175,000 on an annual basis, which is based on our understanding of the services provided. Please note that this commission structure is expected to take effect on January 1, 2026, unless we are able to make adjustments mid-year. We have no preference regarding whether the compensation is structured as a fixed fee or commission-based. Our primary focus is ensuring our clients are satisfied with the work and services we deliver, which justify the fees we charge. Additionally, if commissions cannot be separated from product lines, those commissions will be used to offset the fixed fees. We have included a sample service agreement that we have provided to all of our large clients for your review. This will provide you with additional details.
