Introduction to iPhone Photography Learn a few simple guidelines for taking better pictures with your iPhone and how to improve the ones you already have. Explore how to edit your photos effectively with the Photos app. Become familiar with how to share photos using Airdrop, email, and text, how to post to Facebook and Instagram, and how to store photos in iCloud. Students must bring their own iPhone and are welcome to also bring an iPad or MacBook. JOAN PACHNER is an avid photographer who has mastered the iPhone's camera and editing app, building on skills initially developed using Photoshop. In this interactive class, you’ll explore the new interface and the latest features, and yearn for the good old days no more. You'll discover how to search intelligently rather than scrolling endlessly to find your favorite photos. You’ll learn how to customize and reorder a host of collections to show your photos exactly the way you want. You’ll see your favorite family photos combined in ways you haven’t experienced before, allowing your family to see them with fresh eyes. Come see the future Apple Photos is creating for you. This class is for iPhone users only. ISABELLE DERVAUX is a family photo curator and manager whose mission is to teach iPhone users how to organize their photos and reduce visual clutter by selecting the most meaningful photos and shaping them into narratives that uniquely tell their family’s story. Prior to her present focus on photography, Dervaux had a long and successful career as an artist, teaching Illustration and visual storytelling at CCA in San Francisco and Parsons School of Design at the New School in New York. She is a certified member of The Photos Managers and an active member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals. This beginner-friendly course introduces Adobe Photoshop and other editing tools for making professional-quality images with ease. Class covers basic Photoshop tools for beginners (cropping, layers, adjustments); how to fix lighting, color, and remove blemishes; adding text, filters, and effects to images; creating graphics for social media, websites, and print; saving images in the best formats for sharing and printing. WARREN HERSHKOWITZ is the founder and CEO of Square Foot Advisors, a company that provides advisory services to real estate agents, teams, and brokerage firms and an Associate Adjunct Professor at New York University where he teaches master's degree classes in the School of Professional Studies. Hershkowitz’s distinguished 30-year career sits at the intersection of real estate, technology, and education.
