Movement to Music This unique fitness program features live piano accompaniment with exercises that are safe and suitable for women of all ages. The overarching goal is to help maintain proper alignment and to improve joint flexibility. Stretches will also work on neuromuscular coordination, abdominal strength, and endurance. Carefully sequenced routines use all 632 muscles plus the surrounding joints for a complete body workout. The amazing pianists make everyday stretches come alive as they play perfect songs to fit each routine. PENNY BOWMAN has been a fitness instructor at Stayfit/NY.

Class begins with students seated on chairs for warm-up movements and poses and progresses to a series of standing asana (no floor poses). Pose modifications are offered as needed. Class includes pranayama and deep relaxation techniques. Please bring a yoga sticky mat and one yoga block. LOUISE FECHER is a certified Hatha yoga instructor who has taught in Westchester for more than 15 years, helping students of all ages to safely build strength and increase flexibility.
