W e are deeply grateful to our judges for selecting this amazing group of kids as the 2024-25 Cover Kids. Their involvement made this event possible. They are all exceptional leaders, each playing a vital role in making our community a better place.
Jamie Hollingsworth Redmond Jamie Hollingsworth Redmond has over 16 years of experience in the beauty and fashion industry and is known throughout Southeastern Louisiana as a beauty and lifestyle influencer. She is one half of the dynamic social media duo Jamie and Katrina. You can follow them on all major forms of social media. Jamie has represented such brands as Clinique, Benefit, Merle Norman, and Williamson Cosmetic. Additionally, she has owned and operated three beauty and fashion franchises. She was chosen as an American Cancer Society Inaugural Tastemaker in 2023. Jamie was crowned Mrs. Pelican State 2022 and Mrs. Louisiana American 2023. She also competed for the Mrs. American title in Las Vegas in 2023. She resides in Gonzales with her husband Coy and their sweet son, Cash. She enjoys helping out on their animal farm when she is not all dressed up and hosting events around town.
Irielle Bertrand With a love and compassion for education, creativity, and individuality, Mrs. Irielle Bertrand continues to strive for excellence in developing young minds and leadership skills and closing academic gaps one gap at a time. Born and raised in New Orleans, LA by a beautiful family of four, Mrs. Bertrand graduated high school from the archdiocese, St. Katharine Drexel High School in 2013. As a 2017 graduate of Louisiana State University in Marketing with a minor in Psychology and as a 2019 graduate of Relay Graduate School of Education, earning a Master's Degree in Education, Mrs. Bertrand grew professionally and personally in the Baton Rouge community. Currently, as a math elementary school teacher, math academic content leader and coach, mentor teacher, and business owner of Black MasterMinds Tutoring, Mrs. Bertrand enjoys supporting a diverse and inclusive culture where all minds are welcomed and encouraged. She created and established Black MasterMinds
to empower and uplift undervalued scholars and families who needed deeper academic and social support. Beyond tutoring at the Black MasterMinds center and teaching and leading in the classroom, Mrs. Bertrand enjoys spending time with family, watching comedy movies, and making a difference in her community. Katrina Liza Katrina Liza is a jack of all trades. She is a local lifestyle influencer. Katrina has worked with notable brands ranging from Christian Louboutin to Netflix. She has even been sought after by Kim Kardashian to create content. Whether you’re launching a new business or need your eyebrows microbladed, Katrina is your girl! She is a wife and mother of 12-year- old Charli Rose, who is also an influencer and model. Katrina believes in influencing for the good. She places an emphasis on promoting local businesses and people.
