LEVEL3 Parenting / ECE Introduction This is a level 3 NCEA course for students interested in early childhood education (ECE) and care. In addition, students are provided with the skills and knowledge to competently and safely parent their pepe.

Students will gain the skills and knowledge for competent and safe parenting. In addition, this qualification contributes to the Social and Communities Vocational Pathway. Students may undertake further study towards the following: - New Zealand Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 4) - New Zealand Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 5) or proceed to commence a level 7 initial teacher education (ECE) qualification under specified criteria.
