Keep evenly moist and don’t allow to dry out completely. Although germination is about 65–70%, it is best seeded with 2 seeds per plug to maintain even developing plants. Too many seeds per plug results in uneven finished pots.

Avoid excessive, free moisture in propagation with Surrender. Sedum telephium is sensitive to high salt levels and high ammonium levels. Use primarily Cal-Mag ® Plus (calcium nitrate + magnesium nitrate) fertilizers in propagation.
