2023 ANNUAL REPORT | KW CARES
Financial Statement
The Heartbeat of the Culture of Caring
In 2023, we were grateful to be spared the need to respond to a natural disaster of the financial magnitude of Hurricanes Ian or Ida, like the two years prior. Because of that, and the faithful support of our donors, we only needed to pull a few thousand dollars from our reserves at the end of the year. That’s something we should all be proud of in such a challenging real estate market! However, should a major disaster strike in the coming months, the revenue received in 2023 would not cover a significant relief response. And we’ve learned that we are unlikely to see two consecutive years without considerable need for emergency grants for disaster relief . Please consider making a financial gift in 2024 to ensure we are prepared to protect the KW Family.
