ZIMBABWE MLICHI Santa Gertrudis Stud imported Red Doc Santa Gertrudis semen from the United States to strengthen our breeding program here in Zimbabwe. The objective was to introduce proven American genetics into our herd to en- hance growth, structure, fertility and overall commercial performance under African conditions. The results have been excellent. The calves born from the Red Doc semen have shown strong hybrid vigour, excellent muscle expression, good temperment and the adaptability required for Southern African grazing conditions. The progeny are thriving on natural pasture systems and developing into very promising future breeding animals. We are extremely pleased with the quality of genetics supplied by Red Doc Farm and we look forward to continuing our relationship in the future.
