Red Doc 5071, a son of Red Doc Amigo 1506, is a stand- out yearling bull in the breed for mass and muscle. Bulls like this are not produced every year in a func- tional package. This clean-made, high-performance bull traces back to donor cow Santa Inez 1/19 and the Red Doc Dinero Harris T88 cross, blending high performance with exceptional maternal function. This young sire posts seven EPDs in the top 20 percent of the breed, with five traits ranking in the top 10 percent or better, including Total Maternal in the top 1 percent. His excep- tional EPD profile is supported by balanced indices of 20-20-20. This Amigo son represents the next true herd bull prospect for the Santa Gertrudis breed and offers the look and performance to attract both domestic and international semen interest.
