Red Doc 8616 is being offered as a rare opportunity to dive deep into the Red Doc cowherd for maternal excellence, easy flesh- ing ability, and longevity. We all strive for high-performance genetics; however, the truth in profitable commercial cowherds is that low-input, easy-fleshing cows are often the females that remain productive the longest, consistently weaning a strong calf at over 50% of their body weight each season. Extremes in a cowherd, particularly in the High Desert, can put an operation out of business in a single season. Red Doc 8616 combines optimal performance, easy fleshing ability, and low-maintenance traits, making her an excellent foundation female. She sells with a heifer calf at side and is exposed to Hefte Ranch M12, an up-and- coming herd sire in the Santa Gertrudis breed. Sells exposed natural service to Hefte Ranch M12(20236592). Red Doc Farms has the right to retain an embryo flush at sellers cost, buyers convienence.
