Heifer pregnancy, functional longevity, $M, scrotal, mature cow weight all look excellent on this group. Don’t expect to have to sell daughters of these bulls at a young age due to feet, udder quality or reproductive problems. Many fads and chases have plagued all breeds through the years. Could it be possible (surely not) that in a swift move to create numbers (EPDs) that a wreck could happen??? Speed on anything can end up in a wreck generally.

Some packers are looking for 1200# fats and some will take all of the 1700# fats they can get. How does a set of cows chase that? Getting cows huge probably won’t work, unless producers give up the profit that can come from the cows side. It’s very easy to add 100+ pounds to a cow in one mating, for her mature weight. May want to think twice about chasing some EPDs.
