We chose balance as much as possible - to continually improve - won’t be as fast but we don’t like wrecks for customers either.

Maintain maternal strength, moderate size making cows, that hold together. If a producer can cut back 30% on the amount of hay fed and still maintain the cow, that’s extra profit. Shallow gutted, larger framed cows that require a bunch more feed (and grass in summer time - which is hard to measure) COST producer. Put money in your pocket instead, your wife will be a lot happier and prouder of you!!

Barricade will put as much natural muscle in a set of cattle as any bull in the Angus breed. Daughters have lots of volume and are easy fleshing .
