Kreuger (1928-2015), 1993-2015. -Private collection, the Netherlands. This depiction is a spontaneous preliminary study for an oil painting on panel by Andreas Schelfhout ‘View of Delft’ from 1858. The landscape setting in both compositions is almost identical, with the exception of some variation in the group of figures in the foreground.
