Delta Pi-Indiana State Delta Pi Alums of the 1980s Reunite at Old Stomping Grounds Alumnae members of the Delta Pi-Indiana State chapter who pledged in the 80s recently got together for an informal reunion. "We’ve [all] gone through many stages of life, and our sisterhood has kept us connected," said Beth Harcourt-Fox, a Delta Pi alumna who attended the reunion. "As we grow older, we realize the importance of being there for one another. After 40-plus years we were back on campus sharing stories and making even more memories. The laughter never ends!" We love hearing stories like this from our alums! Have you reunited with your Alpha Phi sisters recently? Let us know by submitting photos from the event and a short writeup here: alphaphi.org/news-quarterly-magazine/submit-news/. You could be featured on Alpha Phi's social media channels or even here in the Quarterly magazine!

Michigan Supports Local Heart Health
In addition to raising money for its main philanthropic cause, the Alpha Phi Foundation, the Theta-Michigan chapter of Alpha Phi is thrilled to also support the Fraternity’s mission in women’s heart health awareness locally in its own Ann Arbor community by opening the Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Women’s Heart Health Fund at the Frankel Cardiovascular Center at Michigan Medicine. The purpose of the Fund is to support the efforts at Michigan Medicine in preventive cardiology research for women. "By connecting our philanthropic cause to a local part of our community, we are able to participate in UM's Giving Blue Day and better engage with our alumni base through University of Michigan outreach,” said Dina Podnar, the chapter advisor for the Theta chapter. “We also hope by making this connection we are able to see our impact right here in our Ann Arbor community.” Stay up to date with everything happening at the Theta chapter via michiganalphaphi.com. Houston Alums Take on Lessons in Chemistry The Alpha Phi Houston alumnae community’s Book Club recently convened at the home of their sister and fellow bookworm, Jill Arness (Beta Omicron-Bowling Green) , to discuss the best- selling hit novel, “Lessons in Chemistry” by Bonnie Garmus.
Set against the backdrop of California in the 1960s, the story follows the journey of protagonist Elizabeth Zott, a brilliant but marginalized chemist who dreams of making a name for herself in a male-dominated field.
