EDITOR & FOUNDER’S NOTE
This month, I’m taking you to one of my favorite places in the world — Hawaii. For nearly two decades, our family has spent the fall on these islands. It’s where birthdays roll into beach days, Thanksgiving turns into ocean breezes, and cooking gives way to golf, sunsets, and spa days. On Oahu, our days are filled with simple pleasures: shopping at Ala Moana, making lei crowns, riding bikes through Waikiki, or sipping a mai tai at Monkeypod. I visit the same jewelry artists every year, supporting local women-owned shops whose creativity keeps me coming back. Z would say don’t forget the udon at Marugame — and maybe a little adventure: jet skiing, parasailing, or surfing. When we hop over to Maui, it’s all about the food. My first stop after deplaning? Leoda’s Kitchen and Pie Shop. Next door, the farmers market calls my name. And for a special celebration, Mama’s Fish House is our family tradition. Book six months out, plan for sunset, and prepare for perfection. Maui is also where we’ve whale-watched, road-tripped to Hana, and found that slowing down is its own kind of luxury. This issue highlights Oahu and Maui ( p. 6 ), for my full Hawaii insider’s guide checkout this article .

If you’re dreaming of trading the kitchen for coastlines — you’ll find plenty of inspiration in this issue. Flip to p. 4 – where I share how to elevate your next getaway, even if you’ve already booked. From there, see how the season splits between Aloha or Après-Ski on p. 9 , where we go from the warmth of island breezes to the crisp air of Olympic slopes. On p. 10 , our Park Hyatt Exclusive Suite Experiences reveal what luxury looks like when it’s curated with intention. And because travel is about awe as much as escape, don’t miss p. 11 for our Total Eclipse Trips and Cruise Highlights — for travelers who chase once-in-a-lifetime moments. On p. 13 , we take you behind the scenes to Meet Our Partners — the local experts and cultural ambassadors who make IJUS Travel experiences feel deeply personal. If you’re ready to plan your next trip, p. 14 outlines all our currently available adventures, including our NEWLY announced Zanzibar trip. Later in the issue, p. 22 brings a touch of fun with Spooky Travel — and p. 23 wraps it all up with our exclusive IJUS Travel offers curated just for you.
During my last visit, Lahaina residents & businesses were
rebuilding after tragedy struck. It was a reminder to ALWAYS support local economies wherever you vacation. So, I want to spotlight a few women-owned businesses based in Hawaii that I love and support — each one rooted in creativity, care, and aloha:
Here’s to traditions that grow sweeter every year,
