Operations training
High Voltage Standard / V2 PUBLIC HEARING DRAFT 0.1
High Voltage T-Connector Installation The training prepares technicians to apply procedures to safely and correctly perform inspection, cleaning, preparation, and connection or disconnection of HV separable connectors when working with pre-terminated HV cable. The training will familiarise participants with a range of typical separable HV connector types and components used in the wind industry, including T-Connectors, surge arrestors including both inner cone and outer cone type connectors from a range of manufacturers. High Voltage Transformer Maintenance The training prepares technicians to apply procedures to safely and correctly carry out routine inspection and basic corrective maintenance tasks on HV transformers. The training will provide participants with an understanding of the procedures for safe routine maintenance of HV transformers and provide practical experience of HV transformer inspection and routine maintenance tasks.
