The aim of this lesson is to provide participants with an introduction to conducting a high-quality inspection of the HV cable, breakout, connectors and components, and to recognise when to report problem or issues.
After having successfully completed this lesson, the participants can:
18) Explain the key points for a HV cable, breakouts and T-Connector inspection and signs of problems to look out for (Knowledge, intermediate level)
19) Distinguish HV cable, breakouts and T-Connectors in proper and improper conditions for proceeding with the cable connection (Skills, intermediate level)
20) Take responsibility to report any problems identified during breakout inspection (Ability, intermediate level)

Demonstrate the key points in a HV cable breakout inspection, explaining the purpose and importance of every check:
a. correct measurements of breakout (vary up to 2cm)

damage on heat shrink including 4-finger
c.
damage on heat shrink on conductor
