ONE-WAY ZIPPER: When applying the slider to a one-way zipper you must attach the slider in a certain direction. Look at the teeth of the zipper and you will notice that they are in the shape of a ‘P’. Refer to the image below. You will attach the slider so that the ‘P’ is facing up and away from the front of the slider. TWO-WAY COMBI ZIPPER: Sliders can be attached going in both directions along a two-way chain. However, the slider that is applied in the same direction of the one way will be slightly smoother. Attaching the Slider

When the zipper is closed measure from the two sides of the closed teeth. For example, the illustration to the left is 6mm so it is called the RIRI Metal 6 zipper.
