A short introduction to EDUARDO ALONZO PECH

I met this young Mexican artist in the company of his parents when he came to his first exhibition in Houston at High Studios & Gallery in a showcase of our great registered artists at the Museum of the Americas. I spoke with this wonderful, understanding, and affectionate family about Eduardo's future, impressed by the work he presented and which, after the exhibition, he generously donated to the Permanent Collection of the Museum of the Americas.

His works come from the depths of his soul, from his convictions and, above all, from a sincerity that, far from seeking economic success, aims to convey a message of hope, dreams, and disappointments through them.

Each work takes us to a world of dreams forged by symbols and series of witches and demons where each piece deserves detailed observation, as they take us to different worlds, one by one opening their doors as if we were reading a book.

Rarely does such a young artist delve into these dreamlike worlds. We can say that it is the universe created by the author with the clear objective of allowing the reader of the work to know what any of the characters dream of.

In this way, it can be seen that the protagonist's problems are reflected in their dreams, through all kinds of situations marked by sadness, loneliness, or isolation. Eduardo looks to the future with impeccable conduct that transports him to his particular world and above all, he is true to himself.
