S46. An Education in Discipline that Restores the Community Presented by Jeanine K. Fitzgerald (I/T, P, K, FCC, L&A)

Child care and education are professions of service that involve doing the kind of work that transforms the lives of generations long beyond our presence in their lives. It is about substance, and not surface. It does not ask what can I do, but what am I willing to do? And one element of this work that does that frequently is discipline. This session explores the current approach to discipline known as restorative discipline. * Spanish translation provided.
