for Bible teaching and evangelism. Thrilling news from the Hunan Bible Institute always finds its way into the pages of T he K ing ’ s B usiness . The cause of youth is not overlooked by T he K ing ' s B usi n e s s . There are “Heart to Heart Talks with Young Readers” by Florence Nye Whitwell, the gifted author of “Cynthia Stands Fast.” Her writings are thoroughly enjoyed by adults as well as by the young. And there is a section in the magazine devoted to the interests of enthusiastic juniors. It is conducted by Mrs. Martha Hooker. It is replete with Bible stories, puzzles, games and songs that delight the heart of any boy or girl. Perhaps the most popular department of all from the young people’s point of view is Mrs. Mary G. Goodner’s “Notes on Christian Endeavor.” Regular Christian Endeavor topics are used, and complete material for an instructive and interesting meeting is made easily available. Of untold assistance to busy preachers and teachers are the “Homiletical Helps” that suggest an exhaustive analysis of many a trenchant text. Hundreds of readers are vitally interested in the “Interna tional Sunday School Lesson Commentary.” It consists of choice materials furnished by five trained Bible analysts, under the fol lowing headings: “Oudine and Exposition,” by Dr. B. B. Sutcliffe; “Walks and Talks in Holy Places,” by Rev. Herbert H. Tay; “Blackboard Lessons,” by Mrs. Bessie B. Burch; “Golden Text Illustration,” by Rev. Alan S. Pearce; and “Chil dren’s Division,” by Miss Helen Gailey. T he K ing ' s B usi n e ss used in a Sunday School as a lesson “ quarterly” produces unsurpassed results! Non -Sen sa tiona l Above all, T he K ing ’ s B usiness is not a sensational magazine. Its sole purpose is to exalt the name of the Lord Jesus Christ through the presentation of refreshing, energizing, spiritual food. It has no other purpose. The presence of T he K ing ' s B usiness in a home lends a touch of Christian refine ment to the home.

Distingu ished Pens Dr. Wm. P. White, President of the Bible Institute of Los Angeles and Editor of T he K ing ’ s B usiness , is nationally known as one of the most able Bible teachers of this generation. From his pen come illuminated devotional messages for the read ers of T he K ing ’ s B usiness under the heading, “Crumbs from the King’s Table.” Whether the “crumb” is in the nature of a brief essay on Christian experience or whether it presents some profound Bible truth it invariably strengthens, satisfies and enriches the heart. Members of the Institute faculty are frequent contributors. For instance, Dr. John C. Page, who occupies the chair of Bible Doctrine, is furnishing to readers a noteworthy series of articles entitled “Studies in the Epistle to the Hebrews.” These studies are widely read and are appreciated not only for the clarity of their expression but likewise for their reverent spirit, which, by the way, is the spirit that characterizes every class room of the Institute. Rev. James A. Vaus, Director of the Jewish Department of the Institute, presents many up-to-date items in a fascinating de partment, “In the Jewish World” . . . this feature is distinctive, unusual, thought-arresting. Notable pastors and outstanding Christian leaders also are among the contributors. At the present time Dr. Roy Tal- madge Brumbaugh, Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Tacoma, Washington, is giving to the readers of T he K ing ' s B usiness a group of stimulating articles dealing with the early chapters of Genesis. Dr. Brumbaugh is a convincing teacher and a ready writer. He is scholarly, scriptural and pun gent. Another contributor is Dr. Louis S. Bauman, Pastor of the First Brethren Church, Long Beach, California. Dr. Bauman is a profound student of prophecy and his page in T he K ing ’ s B usiness , “Present-Day Fulfillment of Prophecy,” is one of authority, simplicity and power. Contributors are not confined to the Pacific Coast or even to the United States. Students of the Institute have found
