Another weekend split for the Nats on the North Dundas Rockets 8-6 with a hat trick from Matthew Wilson and a pair of goals from Paul Armstrong. and Clifford. Also providing help to the sco- ring were Frederik Champagne, Vincent Martel, Raphael Payant, Nickolas Spirito, and Anthony Tulipano. Jacob Chartrand and Jessy McIntee shared the goal-keeping duties for Sunday. Tidying up the score with solo points were Jeff Brett, Matthew Clement, and Matthew Clifford. punching in two goals and Tristan Staff notching a single. Assisting on the goals were Mullin, Tyler Cayen, Liam Morrow, and Jordan Ruby. Jason Buma guarded the North Dundas net. The Nats are home this Sunday for an evening game, Dec. 4, against the Papineau- ville Vikings.
RocklandNationals are sitting in the lower half of the season standings right now in the National Capital Junior Hockey League. But they are managing to keep adding at least one more win each weekend to their game record. The Nats hosted the St-Isidore Aigles Sa- turday, for the last weekend of November. The Aigles clipped the Nats 3-2 at the end of the evening. Scoring a goal each for Rockland were Matthew Clement and Vincent Martel, with each of them helping on the other’s goal. Other scoring assists during the game came from Matthew Clifford and Raphael Payant. Jacob Chartrand protected the net for Rockland Saturday night.

McDonald, des Jets, a lui aussi marqué en supériorité numérique. En troisième période, c’est l’attaquant des Castors, Olivier Brunet, qui a encore une fois marqué, égalisant le pointage. Mais les Jets n’ont pas baissé les bras. Ils ont enregistré trois buts consécutifs en fin de troisième période pour remporter le match. Ce sont donc Joey Larcher, Josig Rochon et Nick Ro- wan qui ont donné la victoire à leur équipe. Les Castors affronteront les Glens d’Alexandria le 4 décembre prochain.

Les Castors ont dominé les Timberwolves de Renfrew le 25 novembre dernier, rem- portant leur match 8 à 0. Les attaquants des Castors ont vite fait de déjouer la défensive des Timberwolves en première période. En effet, ceux-ci ont marqué à quatre reprises. Tyler Pancel, NathanMelee, Jean- Christophe Bourgault et Olivier Brunet ont tous réussi à déjouer le gardien de Renfrew, Jacob Drover. Lors de la deuxième période, Ryan Sabou- rin des Castors a marqué à son tour. Mais l’offensive des Castors n’était pas terminée. Olivier Brunet, Tyler Pancel et Mathieu Quenneville ont tous trois compté lors de la dernière période. Le 27 novembre, l’équipe de Clarence- Creek accueillait les Jets de Metcalfe.
Ce sont les attaquants des Jets qui ont marqué les premiers. En effet, Marc Bros- seau a vite fait de déjouer le gardien des Castors, Jean-Sébastien Gratton, en première période. Les Castors ont riposté en deuxième période, lorsque Olivier Brunet a comp- té en supériorité numérique. Mais Dylan
Matthew Wilson spiked the Rockets with a weekend hat trick
Martel honoured Vincent Martel earned a $1000 bursary from the Hockey Eastern Ontario organization. The 2016 award reflects Martel’s achievement during his first season with the Rockland Nationals and in the National Capital Junior Hockey League. During that time Martel also served as minor hockey referee and provided volunteer coaching assistance for his high school’s junior boys volleyball team. Now a high-school graduate, Martel looks forward to pursuing a career in the field of law. He has been accepted into the Teller School of Management at the University of Ottawa. – Gregg Chamberlain
Maxime Choquette punched in a pair of goals for St-Isidore with fellow Aigle Pascal Larocque accounting for the remaining point on the scoreboard.
