Employee Appreciation Events On March 3, the Office of Marketing & Special Events (OMSE) provided sweet treats for all Allegheny County employees, along with a message of gratitude from the County Executive, in honor of National Employee Appreciation Day. OMSE also hosted a series of Food Truck Fridays from April through September. One Friday a month, the courtyard of the County Courthouse hosted food trucks offering a variety of cuisines and encouraged employees to enjoy the sunshine and comradery. Staff were also treated to acoustic performances, games, and giveaways.
Print Shop Introduces Digital Customer Storefront
After a soft launch in the spring, the Print Shop introduced a new application for all internal users and customers to submit online printing jobs. This application provides media personalization, web- to-print portals, and marketing automation. It also allows end-users the ability to select their items, incorporate their own details, use stock imagery, receive pricing quotes, and preview final product mock-ups. This application also generates email notifications when print jobs are complete, includes pick-up instructions, and provides overall better job tracking for both the Print Shop staff and their customers.
