INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
SUPER Series 1. The SUPER-PAK unit ships attached to a pallet and is pre-primed with water. Do NOT remove from the pallet or add water. 2. The SUPER-PAK also ships with the SP-PUMP. SUPER-PAK 1–3: The SP-PUMP is already connected, no action is needed on the pump until step 5. Do not disconnect the pump. Water will spill out. SUPER-PAK 4: The SP-PUMP is placed between the four units. Remove and place on the floor in front of the units with the Serial Number and
Outlet labels. Attach the camlock from the SP-PUMP to the inlet on the SUPER-PAK.
3. Run the ¾” rubber drain hose to the desired location. It is recommended that the hose lays flat or slopes downhill. Do not allow airlocks, kinks, or excess coil in the drain hose. 4. Remove the drain plug by cutting off the end of the hose, about 1½” from the end. Water will flow out of the unit until the pressure is equalized. Cut the hose to size as needed. 5. Recommended*: Connect a ¼” poly tube from any clean shop air source to the push-to-connect fitting on the left side of the timer drain. Plug in the timer drain to a 110-volt outlet.
6. At the top of the SP-PUMP, remove the red cap(s) from the inlet and replace it with a push-to-lock fitting. Connect the ¼” condensate line from the compressor to the push-to-connect fitting. 7. Connect the vent lines from each unit and the outlet vent line to the fittings on the SP-PUMP. Do not remove them after they are installed.
8. Plug the SP-PUMP into a 110v outlet.
NOTE: The SP-PUMP requires a specific amount of condensate before it activates.
*The timer drain sends an occasional burst of air through the media bed to improve condensate flow. Most applications benefit from but do not require this function. Contact your sales rep to see if your specific application requires timer drain operation.
