Clean Resources - Auxiliary Discharge Pump product sheet - for CRP and IDC Series Oil-Water Separators
Auxiliary Discharge Pump Is the drain more than 10 feet away? No problem! How about gravity—can’t run the clean condensate downhill? We have the answer! Clean Resources sells an Auxiliary Discharge Pump for those troublesome installs where the drain is too far away, the outlet hose won’t lay flat or run downhill. How it works The CRP Series and IDC Series* use gravity discharge to expel clean condensate from the unit. For that reason, the discharge line must always run downhill and be free of obstructions. However, in a few instances, the discharge line may need to run slightly uphill, more than 10 feet, or even over an obstruction like a pipe. All of these situations can cause a backup because the unit isn’t designed to handle those types of discharges. Enter the Auxiliary Discharge Pump! Connect the CRP or IDC units’ outlet hose to the pump, let it do the work, and move the clear condensate into the drain. Backup problems are resolved just like that!
* The CRP 500–1000 and IDC 350–1000 must be elevated on a platform so the outlet hose can run downhill to the pump.
About the Pump The Auxiliary Discharge Pump features a continuous-duty, thermally protected split capacitor motor for reliable, long- term operation. Rugged thermoplastic
