The Director of Real Estate Development
Reporting to the Director of Real Estate, the Director of Real Estate Development will take responsibility for the leadership of the College’s £100m+ p.a. real estate development programme across a diverse estate portfolio including research and teaching facilities, student accommodation, social and hospitality space, commercial property, mixed used developments and historic buildings.
Projects are varied and will include mid-sized and major capital projects spanning new build, refurbishment, adaptation and fit-out schemes with several individual developments in excess of £50m in value.
You will lead a high calibre client side development team responsible for delivering one of the largest, complex and diverse real estate development programmes in London.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading the successful delivery of large scale real estate development projects and programmes for industry leading organisations in a client side capacity.
You will have a high degree of commercial acumen honed in the construction industry, with a history of driving value during planning, procurement and delivery stages of projects.
Exceptional, interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills are essential together with the capability and experience to effectively lead and motivate internal and external teams of property professionals.
