Study Questions on Chapter 13 (Continued) 1. Get a map of the region traveled by Paul on his first missionary jour­ ney and trace his stops along the way. There may be a map in your Bible or in your Bible dictionary, or you may have a good Bible atlas. This will help your study tremen­ dously and will make the account more interesting. 2. Note that the devil is always on hand to oppose the preaching of the gospel (w . 6-13). 3. What titles does Paul give to this man who resisted the truth of God? (v. 10.) 4. What was the sorcerer’s pun­ ishment? (v. 11.) What was the re­ sult of Paul’s witness to the deputy? (v. 12.) 5. Trace the progress of Paul’s message in the synagogue in Antioch, Pisidia (w . 14-41). Note how he proves the claims of Christ and how he emphasizes the resurrection as the crowning proof (w . 30-37). Study the heart of the gospel as given in verses 38, 39.
