investors because we’re building a global system. We want to make sure that we have global input. GPA: What is your most fulfilling accomplishment so far? Rick Hammell: I think when companies are wanting to go global, everyone says it’s complicated and, yes, there’s some complications behind it. But, if you can provide technology to make it more simplistic and more attainable, more businesses will be able to do it. Right now, we’re leveraging the technology to kind of level the playing field for businesses in the global employment and payroll environment. If I can give even a sliver of something that can make them successful- -technology for them to enable how they manage their global teams--this makes going global a lot more obtainable. Then

all businesses should be able to expand and have an opportunity to compete. I remember talking to the CEO and he told me if it wasn’t for us giving him an opportunity, his business would not have been as successful as it is today. And to me, that’s why I get up. GPA: How have you used technology to improve your operations? Rick Hammell: Most of it is built by us. While much is built organically, we’re working extensively with others to provide a more complete integration capability. We’re leveraging certain partnerships to allow us to scale the business even further. Some of those partnerships with Helios will be announced soon.
