Aflaj (Traditional Irrigation System): The oral traditions, knowledge, and skills related to the construction, maintenance, and equitable distribution of water through the traditional irrigation network in the UAE. It was inscribed as a national file on UNESCO’s Representative List in December 2020.

Camel Heda’a (Camel Herders’ Chanting): The skills of calling and communicating with camels in the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Sultanate of Oman. It was inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2022. Sadu: Traditional textile weaving skills in the United Arab Emirates. November 2011. The Majlis:

A social and cultural space in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman. It was added to UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in December 2015.
