Cambridge, UK based Domino continues to grow its dig- ital printing business, with entrance into the corrugated sector. The company will be introducing the X630i, its first digital inkjet product offering for corrugated, via a virtual launch event on June 16th. Besides this being a highly au- tomated inkjet printing solution, Domino will also launch a new ink set based on novel water-based ink technology. Founded in June 1978, Domino Printing Sciences has a long and successful history of developing and manufactur- ing innovative coding, marking and digital inkjet printing technologies. Now approaching 1,000 worldwide indus- trial installations based on this proven and reliable inkjet platform, Domino will launch its first digital inkjet press for the corrugated industry on what would have been the first day of drupa 2020. “The single pass Domino X630i digital inkjet press has been designed for everyday corrugated production, allowing corrugated box printers to maximize productivity and efficiency, and minimize cost, ink consumption, and waste,” said Matt Condon, Business Development Man- ager at Domino. “It will enable them to profitably develop short and medium run market opportunities, facilitate new streams of business, and provide a more complete range of capability for their customer base.”
