Interfaith’s programs are essential, and that requires a broad base of support from neighbors who care. Each initiative is rooted in a holistic approach and simple belief: when people are given the right support, they thrive, and so do their communities. Whether you donate, volunteer, host information gatherings at your home, or simply learn more, your involvement can help build the networth of people helping people to build resilience, restore dignity, and plant seeds for sustainable change.

Montessori- based programs and daily meals regardless of their ability to pay. • The Launch Center & Soar - A community hub, providing personalized coaching and career training to empower individuals to overcome barriers and achieve their personal and professional goals.
Housing • Rental & Mortgage Assistance- Helping over 300 families annually avoid homelessness by providing aid for rent, mortgage, or security deposits. It has supported housing stability for over 38 years. • Pathways to Home Ownership & Affordable Housing - Interfaith has built or renovated 55 affordable homes in Asbury Park and Neptune. This program creates homeownership opportunities, stabilizes neighborhoods, and reinvests sale proceeds into future housing projects. Food & Nutrition • Kula Farm - This social enterprise located in Asbury Park offers job training, farm-to-table events, and free produce. Its hydroponic greenhouse and organic gardens sell year round to locals and restaurants which helps sustain the farm.
• Meals on Wheels - Delivering over 300,000 meals annually to 800 Monmouth County seniors and disabled individuals, providing daily nourishment and wellness check-ins. Education, Empowerment, & Community Outreach • Early Childhood Learning Center- Provides safe, affordable care and education for children ages 3 months to 6 years welcoming working families with
his family’s time of need, in turn would allow him to comfort others in need of support. With Andrea’s blessing and encouragement, Chip stepped away from his prior work of 35 years and into the role of Co- Executive director and Chief Business Officer. “Andrea was the support I needed to help me make the transition from the stressful life of my business and step into spending every day at Interfaith.” Building A Lasting Community Since then, Interfaith’s mission has grown to reflect a broader understanding of what it means for a community to thrive. Housing is still foundational, but the organization has expanded to address a broad range of “social determinants of health.” Chip’s leadership, with the help of many, has enabled the organization to expand into eight core programs addressing affordable housing, food security, job training, early childhood education, and more. The comprehensive programming recognizes the deeper needs behind each individual’s circumstance. “It’s not just about keeping people housed,” Chip says. “It’s about giving people the support they need to build something better.” Interfaith Neighbors is powered by local families, businesses, and volunteers who give their time, expertise, and resources to support its mission. Nick & Sons donates bread weekly, Faherty Brand has donated large amounts of new clothing, and The Sak has done a backpack drive. Chip noted that local individual

Rooted in community voices, it drives revitalization efforts like murals and the Springwood Ave Heritage Walk, honoring Asbury Park’s Black history through collaboration and storytelling. “Many people don’t fully recognize the homeless issue in Monmouth County, but it’s as serious today as it was 38 years ago,” Chip explains. “Once people take time to learn and think about it, you can’t ignore it.” Chip would love to hear from you to help share Interfaith’s work.
