Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Northbrook, IL, Prestige Distribution furnishes and distributes a broad portfolio of commercial building products nationwide, in- cluding toilet partitions, lockers, window treatments, wash- room accessories, visual display surfaces, wall protection, and much more, for commercial and multi-family residen- tial properties. ISM: Manufacturing Expands For Eighth Consecutive Month
According to the latest ISM® Manufacturing PMI® Report is- sued by Susan Spence, MBA, Chair of the Institute for Sup- ply Management® (ISM®) Manufacturing Business Survey Committee, economic activity in the manufacturing sector expanded in August for the eighth consecutive month. Spence says: “The Manufacturing PMI® registered 54.6 percent in August, 1 percentage point below the July fig- ure of 55.6 percent. The overall economy continued in expansion for the 22nd month in a row. (A Manufacturing PMI® above 47.5 percent, over a period of time, generally indicates an expansion of the overall economy.)
