WELCOME TO
Vanderburgh County Welcome! We’re glad you’re here! Yes, Evansville does fit the Midwestern stereotypes you’ve heard... and we’re proud of it! We’ve never met a stranger (it’s called Hoosier hospitality), we always help our neighbors, our weather is a little on the unpredictable side, and the metro population is outnumbered by the ears of corn we grow. But we’re not just any Midwesterners, it’s the quirky things about our region that put us in a league of our own.
