HANDY SOLUTIONS DEVELOPED BY PRO-TRAY INCLUDE AN M6 ROOFING BOLT SOCKET SET, MOBILE ELEVATING WORK PLATFORM AND CABLE DOLLY… Making installations simpler and safer for electricians
Co Carlow-based Pro-Tray was created by experienced electrician Tony Kelly in 2015 to address the incomplete and unstable cable management system installs he constantly experienced on jobs. Research conducted by Pro-Tray found that 9 out of 10 technicians rarely have the correct size of driver to fit the roofing bolts attaching such systems, particularly in hard-to-reach places. Tony, who also operates his own contracting business Tony Kelly Electrical Services Ltd, sought a simpler solution and came up with the M6 roofing bolt socket set, a bespoke solution allowing electricians to install cable management solutions up to five times faster. After extensive research, a range of tools including M6 Roofing Bolt screwdrivers, impact drivers, 15pc socket sets and square nut screwdrivers was launched in 2021.
Pro-Tray further extended its portfolio of products with the launch of a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) alloyed tower scaffold (ATS) Tool Tray at ELECTEX Belfast in 2023. Giving installers easy access to hand and battery-powered tools and nuts and bolts, the Tool Tray features tethering points for working at height and allows users to remove any trip hazards. It can also be used on a mobile stand for workshop floors and building sites. Pro-Tray also supplies a Cable Dolly for keeping installation materials close to hand. Available with various combinations of cable drum setup and fully-adjustable drum mounts, it ranges from a height of 300mm to a 515mm drum bar.
