Post House Belfast’s three floors and exterior afforded PM Lighting the opportunity to showcase its expertise with high- quality lighting solutions. Sourcing an extensive range of LED products from across Europe, PM Lighting left no stone unturned in getting the project over the line. Working up to the Malone Road venue’s opening day, the lighting supplier achieved a cosy, stylish ambience to meet its client’s requirements. Bringing 30 years’ collective experience, Director Patrick Magee and Manager Niamh Hunter worked closely with architects, designers, builders and electricians to professionally and proficiently provide high-quality, energy-efficient and economical fittings.
Elevating a domestic installation with smart technology and comprehensive security solutions has secured Domestic Project of the Year for Derek Burnside Ltd. A high-spec 5,000sqft new build with external home gym and wood workshop, the project required close collaboration with the client’s interior designer to position electrical points. Reviewing options at the Derek Burnside showroom, the client opted for an Elan smart home system. Featuring home and away options, it offers control of the lighting, heating, sound system, CCTV and intruder alarm from a mobile app or touchscreen in the property’s kitchen. A CCTV system and intruder alarm with motion detection send alerts to the client’s phone, while the electric gates are also connected into the CCTV and smart system.
