Among CEF’s first five branches to open in Ireland 20 years ago, Castlebar’s 5,000sqft site offers an expansive stockholding including power tools, test equipment, cable, containment, lighting, fire & security, data & networking equipment, heating & ventilation, renewable energy products and EV charging solutions. Branch Manager Enda O’Hara has been with CEF since 2005 and became manager of Castlebar in 2009, while Assistant Manager Andy
Leadbetter joined CEF 25 years ago in the UK before moving to Castlebar in 2006. Account Manager Noel Thornton brings 30 years’ experience in the electrical industry and joined CEF in 2023. A team of eight staff offers a wealth of experience, expert advice and service to a customer base of professional electricians and contractors, industrial and commercial businesses and public sector organisations. Services also include lighting and heating surveys, fire alarm
and emergency lighting design and switchgear and control panel design. On June 19, CEF Castlebar will celebrate its 20-year anniversary with a trade morning alongside its supply partners offering a free breakfast, exciting giveaways and the latest product information. Proudly serving the electrical trade since December 2005, CEF Cork stocks a wide range of electrical products from cable and containment to lighting and EV chargers, supporting contractors, facilities managers and businesses. The Cork team includes seven full- time staff combining experience and energy and led by Branch Manager Chris O’Hare, who has been with CEF for over a decade. Assistant Manager Robert O’Leary has over 20 years
of industry experience, and Account Manager Joe O’Flynn previously led the branch for more than 13 years. The branch’s client base spans greater Cork and a broad range of sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, education and hospitality. “We’re focused on growing the business further while continuing to provide top-class service to our customers,” said Chris. “We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal customers.
