Description: In this book club, students will gain a deeper under- standing of Greek mythology and its influence on the Western World. Students will be encouraged both to read the stories and to think critically about them. We will focus on mastery of content as well as how the morals of the stories compare with Biblical Truths.

Description: Learn and practice literature analysis! Middle school students will read a wide variety of literary genres, including the novel, short stories, letters, poems, and a drama. In this high-inter- est, high-engagement course, students will be introduced to literary analysis and creative writing through the study of literature and the mimicking of excellent written classics. Classroom meetings will include short instruction, Socratic discussions, and practical collab- orative exercises.
