Adults Creative Aging with the Arts - Beginning Painting Learn the basics of painting and experiment with a variety of techniques and mediums in this introductory 8 week class intended for those 55 and older, Wednesdays, March 13 through April 24 from 10:30 AM to Noon in the Makery. This program is sponsored by a Creative Aging grant through the Idaho Commission on the Arts. Registration is required and available on the library adult programs web page. Learn beginner quilting methods with Corla during this 5 week course while creating your own simple quilt Thursdays, March 28 through April 25 from 10:00 AM to Noon in the Makery. A pattern book will be provided. Registration is required and participants will need to bring their own machine and fabric for making their quilt. Quilting with Corla: Beginning Quilting Medicare 101 Workshop Learn all you need to know to start Medicare successfully with the Idaho Department of Insurance at this informative session, Thursday, April 4 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM in the Event Space. Intended for those turning 65 years old or those with Medicare questions. Coffee & Books All are welcome at our first Friday, 10 AM book club where the following books will be discussed this spring.
