Pascale Giorgi brings together a body of new sculptural works formed through a process of remixing, fracturing and reassembling. A bootleg compilation of fixations, leftovers and sculptural outtakes, this new solo exhibition tries to create sense from the detritus of the artist’s studio, in a kind of anti-retrospective, a worst hits compilation. Part studio clean out, part exorcism, Worst Hits alludes to the invisible spectre of storage and expensive studio rent, while creating a mapping of an artistic practice, tracing the recurring themes, research interests, and material fixations that lead to the creation of artworks.
