Precautions when Using Wiper Inserts

Effects of the wiper insert

Wiper inserts are effective for external/internal diameter machining and for facing as shown in the figure below, surface roughness of the machined surface can be maintained even in high-feed machining. ■ Machined Surface Roughness (actual measurements) ■ Effective Range of Wiper Inserts
