Les Castors récoltent deux victoires
cette semaine. Jeudi, ils seront à Ottawa pour affronter les Golden Knights. Vendredi, ils participeront à la Classique automnale en affrontant les Vikings de Casselman, au Glengarry Sports Palace. Dimanche, ils accueilleront les Jets de Metcalfe, à compter de 14h15.
Royals à l’aréna de Clarence Creek. Pier-Olivier Fournier a ouvert la machine avec un but marqué à 6:12 sur les passes de Cédéric Crête et Nathaniel Quinn. Les Royals ont riposté moins d’une minute plus tard. Puis, profitant d’un avantage numérique, Alexandre Charlebois a complété les manœuvres de Jérémie Maisonneuve et Adam Baxter pour porter lamarque à 2-1. Avecmoins de 30 secondes à faire au premier vingt, Nick Draper a augmenté l’écart à 3-1 pour Clarence. Au deuxième tiers temps, les Royals avaient remplacé leur gardien de but. Les Castors ont eu besoin d’une supériorité numérique pour déjouer le nouveau portier adverse. Sébastien Dion a touché la cible sur une passe de Jean-François Lupien. Le tableau affichait 4-1 pour Clarence en fin de deuxième période. La grogne était palpable chez les Royals au troisième vingt. Ils ont d’ailleurs écopé de plusieurs pénalités. Ils ont cependant inscrit un deuxième but aux dépens du cerbère de Clarence, Ryan Mclaughlin. Jonathan Dutrisac a répondu avec un cinquième but au profit des Castors. Ceux- ci l’ont ainsi emporté par le compte de 5-2. Ryan Mclaughlin a mérité la première étoile du match. Le gardien a dû répondre à 43 tirs de la part des Royals. Clarence présente maintenant une fiche de 7 victoires et 1 défaite. Ils sont à égalité avec les Golden Knights pour la première place dans l’association Metro Valley. Les Castors de Clarence ont connu un week-end parfait de deux victoires. Vendredi, ils ont remporté un festival de buts de 10-8 face aux Mustangs de Gatineau. Les Castors menaient 7-6 en fin de deuxième période. Au dernier engagement, les deux équipes se sont échangé deux filets. Les Castors menaient dès lors par le compte de 9-8. Les Mustangs ont tenté le tout pour le tout en rappelant leur gardien dans la dernière minute. Cela a permis à Sébastien Dion de compléter un tour du chapeau avec son troisième but de la rencontre marqué dans un filet désert. Les autres buts des Castors ont été marqués par Nick Draper et Jean-François Lupien, deux buts chacun, Jonathan Dion, Adam Baxter et Karl Larivière ont tous marqué un but. Face aux Royals de Stittsville Dimanche, les Castors accueillaient les Inscriptions pour le patin Il n’est pas trop tard pour s’inscrire à des cours de patinage - Pré-CanSkate (présco- laire), CanSkate, StarSkate, Adultes et PowerSkating, offert par le club de pati- nage de Clarence Creek.
