Livin’ La Vida Lutheran (Not Just for Lutherans!)
THE LOONEY LUTHERANS are a trio of wacky gals who share tips for healthy living. The idea for their show was first “cooked up” in 2006 when the founding members were appearing in the cast of the hit musical CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES. Over the years, they have traveled around the country appearing at hundreds of fairs, festivals and events. They are thrilled to be here this weekend to share some of their tips for healthy living, the Lutheran way. (But you don’t have to be Lutheran to participate.) May 2 & 3, 2026

Two friends fill the void left by retirement in different ways; Marty decides he wants to explore the open road on a Harley while Fred decides to pay more attention to his health, inventing many new ailments along the way. With a little “subtle redirection” from their wives and a creative solution to a very unusual problem (which may or may not include a homemade coffin) they find the right track... eventually.

The Sisters of Perpetual Sewing miss the excitement of the old days when they were saving convents and reuniting long-lost families. So, when they learn that the orphanage where Paul and Kate grew up is in peril, they can’t wait to come to the rescue. Everyone pitches in to mount a play to raise money, but it’s no easy feat when Kate’s expecting any day, Sally’s hiding from stage- fright-stricken Paul after another flight from the altar, Mother Superior’s acting is unexpectedly narcoleptic, and the sisters’ award-winning wine keeps getting switched with the grape juice. The merry mix-ups multiply in this warm and winsome sequel to Drinking Habits. Oct 23 - Nov 1, 2026 By Tom Smith

Christmas Carol
It’s Christmas Eve in Bunyan Bay, Minnesota and cantankerous bar owner Gunner Johnson gets in an argument with his wife, Clara. He tells her he’s skipping Christmas, storms out of the bar, goes snowmobiling across the lake, falls through the ice on his skidoo and goes into a coma. He comes back in his dream where he’s visited by folk legend, Sven Yorgensen, who plays the ghost of Christmas past, present, and future. Sven takes Gunner (Scrooge) on a journey similar to that in Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol only very different. Will Gunner come out of his coma and find redemption with Clara at The Bunyan? Find out. December 11 - 19, 2026 Books & Lyrics by Phil Olson
