“You can’t buy happiness, but

you can buy a kid a bike, and that’s pretty close.”

Do you remember the feeling of getting your first bike? The rush of excitement you felt. You didn’t know how to ride it yet, but that didn’t matter. You were the proud owner of your very own piece of freedom. We believe that something as simple as a bike can give kids a taste of freedom, adventure, and a love of the outdoors. Which is more important than ever in aworld consumed by digital gadgets. onbikes is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded by a group of friends who organized a community bike ride during the winter holiday season. Since 2011, they have given away more than 5,000 bicycles to at-risk and foster kids in the Tampa Bay area.

onbikes partners with companies across the nation in order to put as many bikes into the hands of at-risk and foster kids as possible. We’ve created a unique model that allows our partners to host an unforgettable team-building event while delivering a tangible product back into the community.

The following 2-pronged initiative will:

Engage employees through a fun and unique team-building event as they work together to assemble new bikes straight from the box. Create competitions between assembly lines and watch the completed bikes accumulate, knowing that each one will bring happiness to a child in need. Deliver brand new bicycles to at-risk kids! Our partners can donate the bikes to an organization of their choosing, or onbikes can help facilitate the donation through our network of partners.
