Registering FOR CLASSES Self-Service is the system students use to register for classes. One benefit for students within the State Center Community College District (SCCCD) is the ability to enroll at multiple campuses in the district (FCC, CCC, RCC, MCC) although courses may count differently towards degrees at each college. Students receive their registration dates via their college email before the registration period begins.

a Log into My Portal. a Open the Self-Service app. a Click on Search for Classes/Add to Schedule on the main or side menu. a Select a Campus Location. a Select a Term. a Select a course Subject and Course Number from you SEP. a Click Search.

a Check the Section Status to see if the class is closed, open, or waitlisted. a Under Section Name, click on the class link for full information such as lab times, then click Add. a The status will have a yellow Scheduled bar when it has been added to your schedule. Repeat until all of your classes are added to your schedule. You are now ready to register for your class.

a Click on Register for Classes/View My Schedule on the left-side Academics drop down menu. a Use the arrow buttons to select the right term. a Click the Register button below each class. a Check that the class turns green on the Schedule. If the class is yellow, you are not registered or may need to press the Waitlist button. If the class is red, it conflicts with another class. a Classes that have no meeting time are listed at the bottom of the Schedule.
